The prefecture I will be speaking about is ふくしま。It is the third largest prefecture.

In 2011, an earthquake and tsunami affected the Fukushima region, leading to immense damages. Since the disaster, the prefecture has been recovering gradually.

There are one and two-days tours where visitors can view the Fukushima coast that was impacted during the 2011 disasters. Visitors can speak to locals who witnessed the events first-hand. For those who decide to attend the two-day tour: だいいち Nuclear Power Plantにいきます。

There are many historical sites. For example, there is あいず-わかまつ。
It has several mountains and a castle called つるが with beautiful sakura in the area. In this town, there is a samurai residence that was reconstructed.

Additionally, there is a location in ふくしま called ごしきぬま。 There are many ponds and lakes.

それから、there is a beautiful park in the prefecture.
